Your journey begins on the road and continues upriver, trading the bustle of the capital for the quiet edge of the dunes. By dusk you arrive in Atins, with your first taste of village life waiting.

The Launch Point
Leave São Luís behind and drive inland by private van, trading the city for open roads and countryside.

A sustainable wooden lodge in the center of Atins. Designed for natural airflow, with bio-digesters and composting systems. Daily housekeeping included. Upstairs, a mezzanine workspace looks out toward the palms. Ten minutes on foot — or four by ATV — brings you to the beach.
